new wonder wash outlet!

woohoo!! i’ve been wishing for this for a year i guess, but a laundromat ard the west!! 

(they must be doing pretty well – which is good!)

anyway the laundromat’s @ Taman Jurong Food Center – just 15min away by car i guess.

the building is pretty neat as well – lil rundown but quite a quaint place.

carpark is just downstairs and just pop up for a wash! foodcourt nearby as well so just do the laundry while having a meal – and all done in a jiff!

Serangoon road

went for the collection of trifactor race pack @ Cit Square today.

Serangoon road, braddell road is such a nightmare for driving. lil lanes yet so many cars, and most often the right lane are filled with illegal parkings.

yet it can be a delight finding lil gems like below

lil make shift temple – so out of the blue! so unlike singapore where everything needs to have a permit and regulated.

red light after red light

this is captured as part of the scene encountered daily on the drive home.

junction of robinson road and keppel road.

u have in front of u, 2 stretches of road, separated by 2 sets of red light.

it is red in front, and the first section is packed with cars.

u are in the second section at the back, yet it is green lights.

so wtf???

u can move, but u can’t.

and then…it is green in front and red @ the back.

so now u cannot move at all.

what a moron.

i like such stuff.

simple dished thrown together that is a reflection of what’s ard u.

coconut milk, rice cakes, and egg and some vegetables.

mop it up with some bread 

why go to so much extravagance in restaurants?

lazy saturday

it can be such a bliss sitting @ home relaxing and watching people doing work.

<28min. hmm that’s rather unexpected.

wanted to run a steady 5:40 pace today i/o what had been happening past 2 times i.e. 5:20 *2 and then dropping massively to 6.

it was rather overall the same exertion as before but i do feel this is the right way to progress.

so in the end a pretty decent 5:35min/km ave – so it does show that keeping a steady targetted pace works better than going too fast and then being unable to sustain it.

so keeping to this pace until i can progress to a better pace…

scare on PIE

i’ve never been so close to a fatal (?) accident before.

was on the PIE heading back home when all of a sudden a motorcyclist just to the left and slightly to the back of me just lost control and went down. didnt see what happened but i could only remember seeing the mirror break off and rolled in front of me car. some debris seemed to hit the left of my car as well.

next thing i know i heard a loud sound – from the rearview mirror, it seems a truck swerved to its right to avoid the motorcyclist and smashed into the side barricade – where i was just seconds earlier.

if i had been 1min later – i prob will get smashed by the truck…

man.

rather traumatic.

not sure what happened to the pileup – i fear the worst for the motorcyclist – at that kind of speeds – i hope he wasn’t rolled over by some vehicles.

life….is just so …unpredictable….

and another week down! Poof!!!

60 more days….ahhh

12 more weeks. ahhhhhhhh

it was stressful with the pos today – smile well bid and vols getting smoked – for some weird reason pnl was not as bad as expected so i will regard it as a lucky escape – and glad to be rid of a crazy mth of nonsense.

end of july – 2 more mths to freedom…
